IIT Bhilai introduced digital testimonials (degrees and marksheets) which are given to students graduating from IIT Bhilai. The testimonials offer the flexibility of validation by anyone through standard PDF browsers. It also provides longevity, sharebility and document availability any time any place. The digitally-born testimonials are further integrated with DigiLocker, a Govt. of India initiative which serves as a secure document gateway acting as a secure document exchange platform between trusted issuer and trusted Requester/Verifier, thus providing authenticity to the document.

This pioneering step from IIT Bhilai provides digital degrees and digital mark sheets to degree holders anytime any place. The documents are born digital, digitally signed by institute authorities and can be verified by anyone.
