The OBC Cell is dedicated in promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunities for employees and students belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category. At IIT Bhilai, our goal is to create a supportive environment that respects and addresses the needs of the OBC community within the institute. The cell has specifically concentrated on the welfare of the OBC employees and students.


In order to prevent caste-based discrimination in higher education institutions, competent authority constituted a committee for the OBC Cell at IIT Bhilai for the redressal of the grievance of OBC employees/students.


The committee is for a tenure of a year. The commitee comprises:
